Obituary of Garson Brady

It is with mixed feelings of peace and sadness, the Brady family announce the passing of Garson Omer Brady on May 12^th 2023, 3 days shy of his 85th birthday at Royal Rose Place, Welland.

Beloved husband of Elsie (Comfort) whom he was married and devoted to for 64 years. Dedicated father to Greg (Lori) and Gail Wiebe (Dave). Loving grandfather to Tara (Riley), Michelle (Steve), Scott (Katie), Cortney (Kyle), Kelsey (Kevin) and great grandfather to Luke.

Predeceased by his parents Harley and Edith and sister Georgia (Alf). Survived by sisters Marion Dilts (Late Gordon) and Bonnie Visser (Late Hotzen).

Garson grew up in Fenwick on the family farm. He was employed at Atlas Steels for over 30 years, and was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. He enjoyed coaching baseball and being a mentor to his players.

A special thank you to Royal Rose for all their care and compassion shown to Garson over the past 18 months.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Tallman Funeral Homes with a graveside service at Lane's Cemetery on Monday, May 15th 2023 at 1:30pm.
