Mac Tavish, Donna - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Mac Tavish on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, aged 80 years. Wife of the late Bev (2008) and dear mother of Kevin (Sue), Ann-Marie (Jim) Wiley, Susan (Steve) Tope, Boyd (Erin). Grandmother of Sarah, Parker & Brandon Mac Tavish, Katie (Steve), Tim (Amanda), Lindsay (Jarrett), Stephanie & Devin Tope & Sabrina. Great grandmother of Jack & Tyler. Donna was devoted wife, mother and cherished grandmother and great grandmother. She was a caregiver at heart who always put the needs of her family and friends first. She took great pride and joy out of the little things in life; her love of dirt car racing, chocolate and spending time with her loved ones. Donna always tried to leave a lasting message to her loved ones. She lived her life through the eyes of her family. She always gave advice whether you wanted to hear it or not. She was a great conversationalist and always cared about what you had to say. Although her life on earth is complete, she will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. In the words of George Jones, "She stood in the shadows so others could shine... She loved a lot in her time". Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13 from 2-5pm at the Tallman Fireside Room, 3277 King St. Vineland. If desired, memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
