Obituary of John Klassen

John Klassen October 4, 1929 - July 1, 2023

God graciously called John Klassen home to be with his Lord on July 1, 2023 after a brief struggle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family & cared for with care and compassion by the Staff of the St. Catharines general hospital and Tabor Manor.  He was predeceased by Mary his cherished wife of 62 years, grandson Andrew and all his siblings. He is survived & loved by 4 children – John, Luise (Helmut) Wohlgemut, Eleanor (Gerhard) Siemens, David (Cynthia), Grandchildren – Brian (Karla), Danielle, Kelly, Kendra, Aidan, Calum, and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Tallman Funeral Homes Ltd. 3277 King St., Vineland on Thursday, July 6 from 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, July 7 at 11am followed by private family interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
