Obituary of Linda Elaine Wall

Eldest daughter of Ernest and Catherine "Kay" Gortson (both deceased).

With great sadness we announce Linda's unexpected and sudden passing at Princess Margaret Hospital at the age of 76 on July 11, 2023.

 Linda is survived by Peter, her husband of 55 years marriage and her children Andy, Philip and Stanley (Hoda). Also survived by siblings Liz (Alf Koop), Bob (Betty), Kathy McKinnon, Fred (Pat), Margie (Jared Vaillancourt), and Jon (Jennie), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.

 Linda worked for a time at the Niagara Credit Union (now Meridian), and subsequently was a determined and proficient worker at whatever jobs she chose to take on. She enjoyed practising her culinary skills and gardening skills (flowering plants especially). Linda was blessed with a joyful and adventurous spirit. Most of all she devoted a love and passion for her family, which will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be at the Niagara United Mennonite Church at 1775 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Tuesday July 18 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Wednesday July 19 at 10:30 AM followed by interment after which there will be fellowship refreshments at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre (14 Anderson Lane).
