Dear Richard,
I'm so, so sorry about the horrific end to your life. You were bullied and mistreated in a way that I cannot fathom. I do not know you, nor will you ever know me, as I am an American thousands of miles away from you in Canada. Only God knows the depression and suffering and mental anguish you were put through near the end of your life. Your story really motivated me to write my governor and 2 US Senators representing my state and my congressperson about what laws and reforms can be put in place here in the US to prevent innocent people from suffering the awful same awful harm you suffered. Please rest in peace. While there is nothing positive about your situation, please know your life taught us so much and brought up a lot of conversation and self examination and political mobilization on your behalf around the world.
