Obituary of Eunice Alma Nurnberg
Eunice Alma Nurnberg (nee Haw), 87, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2023, in Vineland, Ontario. Eunice was born on April 23, 1936, in Hamilton, Ontario, to the late James and Beryl Haw. She was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband, Edward Nurnberg.
She is survived by her three children: Kim (Cathy), Pamela Ellens (Gordon), and Greg (Jane). Eunice was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren: Aimee Hilson (Arthur), Lukas Ellens (Pilar), Kara (Greg Donahue), Roman Serhiaichuk (Ashley), Lauren (Jay Taylor), Anastasiya Lepine (Jessy), and Colin. She also adored her twelve great-grandchildren: Nathanial, Seamus, Wyatt, Ciaran, Wesley, Alexander, Ronan, Forrest, Tyler, Damien, Madeline, and Frida. Eunice is also survived by her sister, Agnes, and many nieces and nephews.
Eunice was preceded in death by sisters: Jewel, Ellamay, Madeline, Jeanette, Hila, and her brothers: Jim and David. Eunice held her family close to her heart and cherished the memories they created together.
Eunice had a spirited personality and a zest for travel. She treasured her family and many friends at the Fort Myers Beach RV Resort, and the Heritage Village Recreation Club.
Eunice enjoyed her career in the Dietary department at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital before retiring. Eunice had an appreciation for local healthcare and continued to participate in hospital activities by volunteering for the Hospital’s Foundation.

Eunice Alma Nurnberg will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May she now rest in peace with her dearest Edward.
A visitation will be held on August 7, 2023, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at Tallman Funeral Home in Vineland, Ontario (3277 King St.). A memorial service will take place on August 8 at 10:30 am in the Chapel, followed by a luncheon in the fireside room and interment at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery.
