Obituary of Elisabeth Maria VanDoodewaard

VanDoodewaard, Elisabeth - It pleased the Lord to take out of our midst our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother Elisabeth Maria Roelofsen – VanDoodewaard in her 104^th year. She was predeceased by her first husband Cornelius Roelofsen (1990) and second husband Andy VanDoodewaard (1999). Mother to Dorothy (Andy) Veenstra, Ray (deceased) Willy Roelfsen, Joan (deceased) Klaas & Jo-Ann Meeboer, Betty (David) Nelson, Helena (Bert) Vermeulen. Also survived by the VanDoodewaard families. Grandmother to 24 and great-grandmother to 59 and great-great grandmother to 16. Predeceased by grandson Kevin Meeboer (1999). Mom was the last of her generation of 8 siblings.

The family will receive visitors on Friday September 1, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Vineland Free Reformed Church, 3685 King St., Vineland. Funeral service will take place at the church on Saturday September 2 at 10:30am. A family interment will take place at Vineland Cemetery prior to the service.
