Lydia was born in Filadephia, Paraguay and emigrated to Canada at a young age, shortly after her marriage. Mom’s life was characterized by her sunny outlook and generous spirit. Her life purpose was to serve God and those around her. She started each day with the mindset: This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it! She loved supporting the church and caring for and making memories with her children, grandchildren and more recently her great grandchildren.

Our family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the caring staff and volunteers at the St. Catharines Site of Niagara Health and the Hospice Niagara who filled her last days with comfort and peace.
