Obituary of Ronda Kristin Wood

Ronda Kristin Wood (Lemay)

At the age of 55, Ronda peacefully passed away at the Welland hospital on September 20, 2023 after a long battle with chronic kidney disease. Ronda was born on February 7, 1968, in St. Catharines Ontario.

She attended St. Catharines Collegiate High school and moved on to Humber college where she graduated as a pharmaceutical technician and then began working for Herbies Pharmacy until she moved on to Food basics pharmacy in St. Catharines. Ronda loved to read, listen to music, and enjoyed many family gatherings.

Ronda is pre-deceased by her mother Helen Darlow and grandmother Doris Battle. She is survived by her two beautiful daughters Regan and Sophia who will greatly miss their moms hugs and snuggles, her father Jules Lemay, two sisters Kim (Carey) Neal, Tammy (Karen) Villeneuve and her loving fur baby Maxxe. She will be missed by many family members, including sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Welland and St. Catharines hospital dialysis units for all the love and care they gave to Ronda.

Cremation has taken place.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 11:00 am – 12 noon with a Celebration of life starting at 12noon. All services are being held at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King St., Vineland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Welland and St. Catharines Hospital Dialysis Units or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
