Donald Brock Cameron
-Don Cameron (July 16, 1934-October 7, 2023) passed away Saturday morning, at Wentworth Lodge, Dundas, Ontario, after a long struggle with Parkinsonian Conditions, like his Parents, Aunts, and Uncle.
-Don loved big dogs and big cars. He worked endless hours, after getting a job at The Imperial Bank, at 16; as a CIBC Branch Manager; Inspector; and, Broker; until, he retired, in 2010.
-He was dedicated to his parents, Violet Brock (1894-1966) and Alex Cameron (1893-1959); Uncle Jim and Alice Brock; Bertha Brock (1896-1993); and, Mary Brock McCutcheon (1907-1987).
-Don leaves his two disabled sons, Dave and Tom, with his wife, Louise Cameron (née Deadman, Aug. 15, 1938-July 26, 2006), married September 27, 1958.
-One of Don’s favourite expressions was, “Well, what can you do?”
-To which Louise would counter, “Let’s see what we can get done today.”
-Don enjoyed volunteering as Santa and for Food Bank fundraisers, with the office.
-Please, remember the family in your prayers; and, in lieu of flowers, donations to your local Food Banks, In Memoriam, would be appreciated.
-Don will be interred next to his parents in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, Ontario.
