Obituary of Donald William Hall

Don Hall passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, in his 92nd year, on November 9th, 2023 at the Heidehof LTC Home in St. Catharines. His loving wife, Naomy, was by his side, holding his hand.

Don leaves behind his beloved & adoring wife of 39 years, Naomy (Neufeld) Hall & is pre-deceased by parents William & Catharine Hall. Don also leaves behind brother-in-law Len Neufeld (Willie) & their son Kevin (deceased) (Connie) - children Matthew & twins Travis (deceased) & Kai; Daughter Lynda (Graham) - children Keshia & Kira; brother-in-law Norm Neufeld (Ellie) - son Ryan; cousins Brian & Janet, Brent & Heather (deceased) Brown; Judy Spence (Bill); Gwyn Rita Richards.

Don celebrated an almost 30 year career at Imperial Optical, followed by 9 years at Kala's Hardware, until his retirement in 1997. His wonderful bass voice delighted many over the years as he sang with a number of choirs, his favourites being the Niagara Community Male Chorus & the Memorial United Church choirs.

Naomy wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of the Heidehof LTC Home. Their professional & compassionate care meant so much.

Don will be greatly missed by many who were blessed to have journeyed through life with him.

Family & friends are welcome for visitation at Immanuel Baptist Church, 605 Vine St., St. Catharines, on   Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 4 – 6pm and to the Celebration of Life at Immanuel Baptist Church on Wednesday November 15 at 11:30am.

A time of refreshments at the church to follow.

Pre-service interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2250 Highway #20, Fonthill, On, at 10 am.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or charity of choice.
