Just preparing my Xmas card list and I was wondering about our old friends Bob and Clara Nolan. Sad to hear of his passing so recently. Condolences to Bruce, Barb, Lynn and Alan and your families. Bob was such a kind man. We stayed with him and Clara in Winnipeg and they stayed with us in the UK during the 2000s. May his soul Rest in Peace.
With love

Our prayers are with you, Barb, your mom, and your family at this time of grief. I last saw your Dad in 2017 when I traveled for a convention in Niagara Falls. I was blessed to have spent a brief time with you, your mom and dad. We played pool with them at the recreation room. As always, Mr. Nolan was so encouraging about my ability (or lack of) to play! I will always remember his jolly disposition when we had "tie dye" parties at your parents' home on McGregor Farm Road. May his soul rest in peace.

Bob was a very generous, giving, gentle and caring person. We loved his jokes, his friendship and smile. Bob and Clara were greeters at St. Gerard when we first joined. They made us feel so welcome and we felt like part of the family. Our kids loved talking to him and he would tease them making them laugh. Our deepest sympathy.

My thoughts are with all of you at this time. I have such fond memories of Bob (Mr. Nolan) from growing up with all of you and visiting at your home. Your dad always had a welcoming smile and at least one corny joke every time I came over that he shared with me. He has a place in my heart always. Thinking about all of you and sending you strength and love.
