Obituary of Antonio D'Archi

Antonio D’Archi, 78, Beamsville Ontario, passed away peacefully on November 16th, surrounded by family at McNally House, Grimsby. Survived by his loving wife Anna, beloved children Raymond, Rob (Jillian) Laura (Dennis) and cherished grandchildren Lia, Livi, Lucas and Mason along with his sister Emelia and brother Emelio. Predeceased by parents Raymondo and Anastasia: his brother Ciriaco and sisters Maria, Giuseppina, Modestina and Ida.

Tony moved to Niagara from Avellino, Italy in 1964 at the age of 18 to pursue a life in Canada where he made lifelong friends and raised a beautiful family. He enjoyed many years as a celebrated barber in downtown Beamsville and ran his iconic barbershop for over 50 years. Tony treasured all his family and friends with nothing making him more proud than his children and grandchildren. Tony was well loved and respected by those who knew him. Tony’s family is grateful for your support to the ALS Society of Canada and/or McNally Hospice House in Grimsby.

The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland on Tuesday November 21st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Mass will be celebrated at  St. Helen Roman Catholic Church (4106 Mountain St. Beamsville) 11 am on Wednesday November 22nd.
