Obituary of Henry John Kuik

Henry John Kuik, 61, of St. Catharines, ON passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Welland Site of Niagara Health Hospitals after battling his recent diagnosis of myasthenia gravis and the complications it brought. His adored girlfriend, Heather Tremblay, provided such comfort and support to him and his children throughout. She, along with Henry's three daughters, will miss him greatly.

Henry was born in Woodstock, ON to Jannes and Audrey Kuik on June 30, 1962. He worked in flower sales and delivery for a number of years at Bayview Flowers and European Planters. Most recently, he worked at Stanpac as a Production Operator. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing, socializing, good food, and his Volkswagen Passat.

Henry is survived by his three daughters: Laura Kuik, Heather Kuik, and Mina Kuik. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jannes and Audrey Kuik; his brothers John Kuik and Frank Kuik; his first love and wife, Peggy; and his infant daughter Hannah.

Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St., Vineland, ON) on Friday, November 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

A small commital service and burial will take place at Lanes Cemetery (4459 Twenty Mile Rd., Saint Anns, ON) on Saturday, November 25 at 9:30 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Art officiating at First Reformed Church (1136 Vansickle Rd. N, St. Catharines, ON) with an informal time of visiting with the family in between.
