Obituary of Ted Sturgess

In loving memory of Ted (Edward) Michael Sturgess, our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell. 

A quiet, laid back guy- his ability to light up a room with his humor was unparalleled, and his stories filled with wit and charm would leave us all in awe. Ted had a unique gift for connecting with children and animals- especially his much loved 7 grandchildren and true love Roxie, his Boxer dog. 

A life long passion for motorcycles, Ted was known as the proud owner of Sturgess Cycle throughout most of his life, where he dedicated his life's work to helping others find joy and freedom on the open road. He poured his heart and soul into his business, creating a community of enthusiasts who shared his love for the thrill of the ride. Through the family business, Sturgess Cycle, Ted not only provided exceptional service but also formed friendships that lasted far beyond the purchase of a motorcycle. Ted and Lynn retired over 20 years ago; enjoyed travelling in their RV, adveturous world trips and spending winters at their Golf Club in Florida. 

He passed peacefully leaving behind his wife Lynn, of over 30 years, his 4 beloved daughters, Sandra (Tim) Sturgess and Jennifer (Jon) Adams nee Sturgess and stepdaughters Carissa (Aaron) Dressel and Tamara (Eric) Ferguson.

Although our hearts ache with grief, we find solace in knowing that Ted has found peace after a long battle with Lewy Body dementia. We know Roxie was waiting for him.
