Our deepest condolences to Leonard and JoAnne, Family and friends on the sudden passing of our dear friend Pinky. He will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have been part of his life.
At 4 years old seeing baseball and all the excitement, Brian decided he wanted to be a pitcher. But at that age, his words were " I want to be a Pinker" over and over which whittled down to Pinky, and a star was born.
Pinky grew up and lived his entire life in the Jordan, Vineland and St. Catharines area.
We and many of his friends, all played hockey and baseball from early public school on the ponds then through high school in the new 1967 Beamsville Arena.
It was a wonderful time full of friendship and fun. Pinky loved tournaments and entered many, either setting up a team, or joining another. Weekends were a chance for him to get away from his daily Business, and have fun.
And Pinky knew how to have fun! But Monday he was always back to work.
Pinky loved to play cards, always watching and learning when his mom and dad would have friends over playing Euchre. Once he learned, he was locked in.
Pinky and Leonard honed their cribbage skills throughout the years, and loved coming up north for a weekend of games. Always fun while competitive. Everyone wanted to win, and there was never a dull moment.
Those memories will be in our hearts forever.
Pinky's love of playing cards and socializing kept him busy in his retirement years, circling with a regular group of friends anywhere there was a table and deck of cards to be found.
After the games they'd all go home having already made plans for the next get together. Those were friends.
Pinky loved life, and lived every day the way he wanted to live. Rest in peace good friend.

Ernie thank you for your comments about Pinky. You sum up what he meant to so many of his close friends. He was always there to help you out with whatever you needed, at a moments notice.but the bright spot about Brian was the joy and fun he brought to any get together we shared. My life was better knowing Pinko, and I will miss him and the great memories we shared.
