Obituary of Sharon Winona Baltus
Sharon Winona Baltus (nee Lowe, formerly Campbell)
1945 - 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Winona Baltus (nee Lowe, formerly Campbell), December 2 at Niagara Health St. Catharines site, aged 78.
Though we on Earth have lost her, she has gone to be with her Lord.
Sharon was born in Temiskaming Shores to Gibson and Muriel Lowe on May 3, 1945.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 16 years, LeRoy Baltus, and by her dear sister, Linda Kraynyk (Ira). She is predeceased by her husband, Edward Campbell (d. 2004). She was greatly loved and a devoted mother to her children, David Campbell (Jennifer) and Dawn Duval (Dwayne). Sharon’s memory lives on in the hearts of her grandchildren Macmillan (Serena), Hadlee (Nick), Sawyer (Madeline), Emily, Candice, and Isaac as well as one great-grandchild, Delilah.
She will be fondly remembered by the Baltus family, Elaine (Todd) Harvey, Doug (Christine) Baltus and Dennis Baltus as well as six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
She will also be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Critical Care team at Niagara Health for their excellent care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society and the Cancer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
