Obituary of Maria Janzen

Janzen, Maria - On Monday evening Dec 4, 2023 Maria (Braun) Janzen went to be with her Lord Jesus at the age of 94.  Through many many years she leaned on Him for guidance, strength and protection. She often shared with her family how she prayed for each and every one of us every night. Maria, Mom, Grandma, Oma always put everyone else’s needs before her own. 

Born in the Mennonite area of Ukraine she and her mom and siblings immigrated to Canada in 1949.  She had six children: Robert (Mary), Ed (Judy), Hilda, Peter (Cindy), Willie (Blair), Victor (Vicky), 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren whom she all loved dearly.  Last surviving member of her siblings and pre-deceased by her husband Victor (2017).
