We are all saddened to hear of John's passing. He was a long-time and active member of Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group, Niagara Peninsula Section.
He regularly attended our meetings and events, including our Sunday Breakfast get-togethers, and he was at our Annual December dinner held at Betty's Restaurant in Chippawa this past December 6th.
When John was no longer able to drive, Jack Cutler was dedicated to bringing John to our events.
It was always a pleasure to be in his company.
He will be missed by all of us.
Andy Clark
President
Niagara Peninsula Section

We were saddened to hear of your Dad's passing, but do know he is up there holding hands with his dear wife. Not only was he a good friend, but our financial advisor for many years as well. Always quick with a smile and a hug. Neither he, or your Mom, will ever be forgotten. He loved his family with all his heart and his memory will live on in all of yours. Sending you all love and strength during these difficult days. Take care of yourselves, as he would want you to. xo

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of a wonderful gentleman, your father. Cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend. Our family is richer for having him and your dear mom in our lives. My father’s dearest friend. May the memories of his deep love for all of you give you strength and courage at this difficult time. The Bastedo Family

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. We have lost a much loved and admired member of the vintage motorcycle scene. John's lifelong connection to motorcycling as both an enthusiast and competitor is something many of us have both respected and envied. He will be sorely missed at local CVMG breakfasts, lunches and other events by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and enjoying his company.
