Andrew Snedden

October 31, 1946-April 24, 2024

Passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital in his 78th year.

Devoted Husband to Marilyn for Fifty Years.  

Loving Father to Sean Snedden, David Snedden & Kyla Olszewski (Mark).  

Of all things, Andy was most proud of His Grand Children  Drew Snedden, Abby Snedden, Taylor Olszewski & Jordyn Olszewski. 

He was predeceased by His parents Andrew & Charlotte Snedden, and siblings William Snedden, Charlotte Godfrey & Mary Weibe. 

Andy is survived by brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

A quick tongue and an equally quick wit, it was a challenge to crack a smile on his tough exterior; though that softened with age. As many students over his 30 plus years teaching with the District school Board of Niagara would remember.  In his later years, he enjoyed hearing from previous students and always enjoyed hearing their memories of his years in the classroom and how they impacted others. 

Andy also enjoyed many years of fellowship & conversation with anyone who’d listen at Trinity United in Beamsville. 

His friendship and banter will be missed by those both near and far.  At home in Beamsville and at his Winter Home away from Home in Boca Raton, Florida. Special thanks to those friends for helping Mom as needed when Dad was hospitalized suddenly earlier this month.
