Condolences to your family as you grieve the loss of a special man. I well remember Mr. Hendricks as the kind, attentive custodian at my elementary school. He took time to regularly talk with students and got to know us, setting a wonderful example with his compassionate understanding. He was much more than a custodian; he was a teacher, as he influenced me with his unassuming guidance. I carry special memories of that early time in my life (more than 55 years ago). May warm memories fill the empty spaces you feel. Prayers support you.
