Lloyd, We are writing these words at 12:05 P.M. on Thursday, March 9, the precise time when the service for your dear wife Carol is being conducted. Though not being present physically, be assured that right at these moments we are with you in thoughts, love, and condolences. There are some people in our lives that we will never forget and will always be grateful to God for allowing them into our lives. You and Carol are two such people along with your lovely family.
You both have been such wonderful examples of godly living and generosity to the cause of Christ both financially as well as through so many avenues of service, to say nothing of the extended influence of your ministry through your family loving and serving the Lord. At this time, Carol is now enjoying the presence of her Lord and will have so much to place at His feet from her gracious life of walking with God through all these years.
And Lloyd, we will never forget the great times together and how God allowed Carol and you to be with us in Saskatoon to make us life-long friends and partners in ministry. You both share in the rewards of the lives God has touched through this ministry by your being a vital part of it. For all this we will always be most grateful!
Our prayer is that God's special comforting grace will be poured out on you and your wonderful family at this time and that He will supply all that your need!

Dear Lloyd, Nola, Lowell, Dale and Wayne, your spouses and children.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in these days.
We are so thankful for the friendship and care of Carol and Lloyd, and your family as well. I will always cherish the time that Carol took to mentor me and help me along as a young mother, and as a person. She gave me opportunities to grow in leadership with the Alliance Women Events. Carol was an encouragement as we spoke about my roles as a wife and woman in the church. I am very grateful.
Thank you Lloyd and Carol for entrusting Wayne to us in his days, especially Don. We love it when we occasionally get to see you Wayne.
The loss is greatly felt, like a whole, and we will uphold you in prayer in the days and months ahead.
Love,
Don and Dolores
