I am working on a project and reviewing some documents written by Jack for background information. I am impressed by the quality of the work and it brings back memories of Jack's presence at work. Even though I never knew him personally, it is sad to not see him again.

Jack's faith had a huge impact on us. Somehow he found the ability to trust God in spite of what we thought were discouraging circumstances. We're so glad he's free from pain and sorrow and will always remember him as a steadfast and faithful guy with a witty (and sometimes nerdy) sense of humour. Patti and family I hope your memories will bring you comfort and peace. We are truly sorry for your loss.
Love
Gerald and Gloria

I knew Jack as a colleague at MDA. We didn't have the opportunity to work together, but I would have the opportunity to chat with him from time to time in the cafeteria or in the hall.
He was always very friendly and welcoming. A gentleman in how he spoke to me and about others.
I have missed our hellos and brief chats.
I offer his family my condolences.

My sincere condolences to the Dueckman family on the loss of Jack.
I knew Jack from high school days down in Leamington and was so surprised when I joined MDA in 2007 to find that Jack worked here too. We had to bring in our year books to prove it was us. During lunch times, a few of us gathered and talked about everything and anything under the sun. He was a very lovely human being who definitely has been taken away from us too soon. May he rest in peace.
May the many memories of his life comfort you at this time.
Take care,
Linda

Jack was a true gentleman, talented and well respected. He always conducted himself with great humility despite his tremendous skills and his contribution to the Canadian Space Program.
We need more people like Jack, and his passing is a loss to all of us.
Jack, you are gone far too soon. Rest in peace. I close with an expression of my sincerest condolences to Jack's family.

Jack was a quiet thoughtful gentleman and a valued colleague at SPAR/ MDA. We enjoyed his company at the retiree lunches (and afterwards with Patti and some lemonade in their back garden) until his failing health enforced the move away from Bolton. He will be missed.
