My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of Harold. I remember well when we started coming over to your home and always being warmly welcomed by Harold even though we were first just teenagers and then young adults progressing through high school and university. He will be missed.

To Mike, Lucy and all of the family. I'm so very sorry for your loss. To loose a parent will leave a big gap, but you will fill it with your memories. Keep him close in your heart.

I know you're in your own heaven now.
Trakehnen, at the height of it's glory, and all the other beautiful places in the world one might find horses. All of the fish you could want, and as much Lawrence Welk as your heart desires. And of course how could I forget; your old grey pony Marco, to eat up all the treats and keep in step with you.
It's quite the beautiful place.
Het ga je goed, Opa.

Harald, along with his wife Crescenza, have been long-time participants in the informal monthly 'kaffeeklatsches' at the Pen Center, mostly by people of Dutch descent. His voice and laughter will be missed; may he be at peace.
Sincere sympathies to Crescenza and family.
