Obituary of Harold G. Konink

Harold Konink, 84, of St. Catharines, ON died August 7, 2017. He is survived by his wife Crescenza, and daughters Desiree (Remi) Albert, Lucy Fraser, and step-sons Michael (Jane) Koller, and Joe Koller. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Katelynn Albert and Genevieve Fraser, and his beloved siblings - sister Ineke KleinRobbenhaar and brothers Hans Konink and Ben (Alice) Konink. Harold also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, family and friends in The Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, United States and Canada. Harold had a great love of horses, competing in the highest levels of dressage and show jumping throughout Europe (winning the Dutch Show Jumping Championship in 1959) and later breeding and training champion Trakehner horses. He also loved cars and playing with his granddaughters. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday August 26 at his home from 1-4 pm.
