Obituary of Klaas Rot

“After this I looked and behold a door was opened in heaven....and the voice ... said, Come up here...”. Revelation 4:1

Klaas Rot from Beamsville, passed away early Sunday morning, January 21, 2018.  He was the dear husband of Helga for nearly 55 years and the loving father of Jan (Laurence) Rot, Jennifer Musca, Emeline (David) Pickering, and Michelle (Tim) Hardy.  He was much loved by 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Jan, and sisters Johanna, Cornelia, and Alida. 

Sundays were always special days for Klaas. He treasured every opportunity to be found in the presence of his Saviour, to worship Him and remember Him in His death. This Sunday he finally met the Lord Jesus face to face! Klaas spent a great deal of his retirement years serving the Lord Jesus in Nigeria and other countries.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday January 25,2018 from 10 to 11 am, at the Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King St. Vineland, ON.  The funeral service will be at 11 am with the burial immediately following.  A luncheon will be served after the burial in the Tallman Fireside Room.
