Obituary of Katherine Butryn-Konkle

BUTRYN-KONKLE, Katherine Linda - We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Kathy on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Hamilton General Hospital. She passed peacefully with her family by her side. Loving wife of Jim and mother to her shining star, Michael. She will be sadly missed by her mother Helen, father Cecil (2004), brother Terry (Terry Ann); stepdaughter, Sherry Christenson (Dave) and stepson, Allan Konkle; step grandchildren Alyssa and Dave Jr.; her Uncle James Sawka and cousins, Rick, Lori Oblak (Jim), Carol Matthews (Neil), Marianne Marchese (Caesar) and their children. Kathy's life was one of caring, giving, helping others and always being a light in the room. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 30th at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. from 2-4 pm and 7-8:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 31st at 10 am at St. Helen's Church, 4157 Maple Grove Rd., Vineland. Interment will follow at Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lincoln County Humane Society (St. Catharines) would be appreciated by the family.
