Obituary of Irene Wiens

Wiens, Irene – Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital surrounded by her family, Irene Wiens, in her 93rd year.  Wife of the late George (1984) and loving mother of Dan and Irene, Linda and Wayne Courteau, Ed and Donna, John and Brenda (Hellyer), Nancy and Werner Janzen, Lorraine and Edward.  Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Sister of the late Walt Thiessen, Alex Thiessen and Susi Dyck.

Funeral service will be held at the Niagara United Mennonite Church, Hwy #55, Virgil on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior to the service.  Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
