I was just recently sharing the story of my Christian conversion and remembering Fr. John’s loving and patient discipleship, which made me curious and led to me finding this news. Shirley, I hope you will still see this. I have always remembered and been thankful for both your and John’s kind and caring friendship. I am so sorry for your loss.
Your family will be in my prayers,
Gwen Kruk Valliere
(from St John’s Weston)

Dear Mrs. Course and Family,
We, at the Ward Funeral Home, came to know him well while he served at St. John's Weston. His time in Weston was the early part of my career and I learned and was encouraged by him. I admired his ministry and dedication to the community and his good nature. We often saw him multiple times a week assisting families.
Dear memories of Rev. Course recalling his smile which was cheerful and earnest. Our deepest sympathies and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
On behalf of the Ward family, management and staff.

Dear Shirley, Dr. John Jr, Cheryl & families
Our condolences to you on the recent passing of John Sr. It is wonderful to know that heaven is a place were sickness is no more, and you are reunited with loved ones.
We were truly Blessed to have known John for 22 years, while he and Shirley lived in Delhi. They were the best of friends to us, and vice versa, and we will cherish those memories for years to come.
Cherish your fondest memories and keep them close to your heart, these will be your treasure trove moving forward.
May God give you strength in the days to come, and lean on friends for comfort.
Blessings always,

Cheryl, I was so sorry to read about your dad's passing. I think the last time I saw you and your parents was in Simcoe, or maybe when I was working at Remax and you stopped in - almost 20 years ago! I hope you are well, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Cheryl and Bill

Dear Shirley, John Jr.and Cheryl, so sorry to hear of Johns death. Han's and I popped in to see him just a couple of weeks ago when we were visiting my aunt who is also at Albright. He was in good spirits that day, shook hands and smiled. He was a big reason I continue to go to church. It meant a lot to me to be welcomed at St. John's Jordan way back in the 70's and be part of the choir. He made a big difference to many parishioners. Susan
