Uncle Jake was a special guy. We have a lot of great memories of him with the family. Corn roasts. Silver Lake. Firecracker day. Gale’s gas bar. Lots of good times. He’s also the one who gave me the nickname Bubba! He was also a big help to our family when we needed him as I’m sure he was for many others. He will be missed a lot.

I have known your dad as Mr. Litke, he was my youth leader , Sunday school teacher, and friend. the last time we meet at Grace for some dinner celebration he said to me with a big smile, when are we going for a toboggan ride together ( laughing as he spoke )
You see when I was 10 years old all the youth went to a large hill to toboggan and at one time your dad said to me come on Kenny!! you take me down the hill together, you steer it I will sit behind you, what a horrible mistake we made with a big grown up behind a little guy like me steering ,we were headed for a tree! and he was shouting we are going to get killed!!! I gust missed that tree because we bailed out with him on top of me. Ken

To Richard and the extended Litke Family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time with the passing of your father.
I remember my father, LaVerne Good often spoke of how Mr. Litke provided expert guidance and advice for both his and my mother's insurance and investment needs over the years.
Mr. Litke even provided hockey tickets to be able to go to Buffalo to see an NHL hockey game, for folks from Vineland that was really exciting.
Thanks.

My sympathies to all of my cousins. Uncle Jake was quite the patriarch of the Litke family. My fondest summer memories are of time spent at the 'farm' as a child with Kathy and Sunday's after church in the winter! And of course the trips to Florida! He was my second dad and I will hold these memories close to my heart as I am sure you are holding your father's love in yours!,
God bless you all
