Marg and Family,
I have good memories of Henry from the time I was in framing construction. When times were slow, we would move around to a crew that might have more work. I remember one March Break working with Henry and appreciating his way of doing things. He cared about his projects, his reputation, that a job should be completed the right way, and he taught us to value the same things. Plus, he carefully corrected you in a gentle manner; never harsh.
I also remember his warmth and easy laughter when we worked together in Christian Service Brigade. His genuine care for the boys, and desire that they grow up to be men following after Christ, was clearly evident.
I will add a prayer for strength at this time of sadness and loss.
