Obituary of James Robert Hatch

Hatch, James Robert (Jim)  – Peacefully at Albright Manor, on December 10, 2019, at the age of 92.  Born in Guelph in 1927, he was the 11^th of 14 children, and the last surviving member of his siblings.  Jim was predeceased by his wife Meryl (Topp) in 2009.  He will be forever missed by his daughter Debbie (Larry) Hipple and son Dale (Valerie) Hatch.  Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Brett) Hicks, Laura (Steve) Bonin, David (Laura) Hipple, Barbara (Jason) Roller,  Scott (Megan) Hatch and Karey (fiancé Jesse VanderMaas).  Great grandfather to Andrew, Ryan and Kate Hicks, Hazel Bonin, Lia, Ivy, Nathan (2014) and Weston Hipple, Jamie and Evelyn Roller.   Jim will be remembered by an extended family of nieces and nephews.

Jim lived in Beamsville for 68  years, and many will remember him as owner of Jim’s Lock  Shop.  You could always find him tinkering in his garage on some project of his. A special thanks to the staff of the Fifth floor East at Albright Manor, Beamsville for their compassionate care of Jim.

As per Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.  If desired memorial donations can be made to Albright Manor, Beamsville.
