Dear Alan
Your mother was a beautiful women; her pleasant smile and sense of humour drew me to her. I enjoyed the times I visited her at her home and also in the Vineland Home. She always greeted me so warmly and had funny stories to tell. May you live in pleasant memories of your dear mother, who is now enjoying her rewards in the arms of her Savior, Jesus. Blessing to you and yours. Lora warkentin

Dear Allen and Laura,
My mother, Nita Siebert, asked me to send you her regards and condolences on the passing of Tina. They were great friends and enjoyed many good times, including playing Scrabble. Nita is 97 and regrets that she will not be able to tell you this directly because of the cold and snowy weather. She lives at Tabor Manor in St. Catharines and enjoys incredibly good health for her age and a clear mind, but the continuing loss of friends such as Tina takes its toll. I have many good memories of your mother as well. Always a smile and often something humorous to say. An anchor teacher at Vineland Public School for so many years. Allen, Your house was the second door down from the hole in the gate into the school yard. I remember playing hockey in the basement with you and Dean Baerg. Laura, I recall our brief association through Lendrum MB Church in the late 1970s. I trust you are both well and are able to celebrate Tina's life even as you mourn her death.

Dear Allan,
Although I do not know you personally, I was in your Mom's class.
She also taught both of our girls.. Not only a great teacher, but she treated all of us like she was our Mom. Truly loved us and loved teaching.
May she rest in Peace, & may you know how many lives she touched.
God Bless you as you lay her to rest,
Mike & Kathy Dobrenski

I am blessed to have so many memories of our sweet, special "Mrs.P". We lived within walking distance for a year, and I loved seeing her walking briskly across the school yard to deliver some fresh baking. She taught me to make her famous "meat buns" which I still make-she was an encouraging and patient teacher. We had a lot of fun, we talked a lot, made a lot of trips back and forth to the airport, and she told me lots of stories of her beloved Allen. She was protective and supportive during a very bad time in my life, and always offered the most practical and pragmatic advice. I always felt like I could just be me around her.
Mrs. P was a guiding light, a stable force in a shaky world, always someone to be counted on. I loved getting her laughing, it always felt like a gift. She was a strong, faith-filled woman and I respected her.
God bless, Mrs. P, thank you for everything. My condolences to the family.

May you rest in peace with the Lord. You were such a wonderful woman and teacher. At the home where my father also was you almost knew who we were. I shall miss you terribly. Love to you and your family, Shari Lounsbury and family.

What a lovely woman. Tina volunteered at the UM home while I worked there. She was so good to the people who lived there. She never forgot a name, always encouraged and was endlessly patient. She gave us all smiles and laughter that are etched into our memories. I am so sorry for your loss, we have been truly blessed to have had this wonderful woman in our lives.

Mrs. Pankratz, one of my favourite teachers. I remember her teaching our class to sing "Trust and Obey" and can still hear her singing it. (Something we would never be allowed to learn in school these days, but I am grateful she taught us such songs back then.) Many good memories of her as my teacher and neighbour. Just a kind and beautiful lady.
