It was with great sadness I have just learned of Rex’s passing. Going back to 1970 he and his sister Vivienne were the first friends I had made have all just moved into our neighbourhood where we all attended Sir. John A. McDonald. Rex I shared many lively debates in these formative years from music, theatre, sports, fashion and faith. His Elvis and B.B King impersonations were legendary. I enjoyed many good times with Rex and know his spirit as in life and now in passing will endure. May he R.I.P.

I knew Rex from the Y. We used to play a little basketball. What a great guy he was. I would see him at times down in Port and we would always have a nice chat. So to Mary-Jo and the rest of Rex's family, I extend my deepest condolences. Ron Sebert.

Just found out and still in shock. We ran into you all the time when dog walking in Port. The dogs didn't get along that well, but the human parents did. Whenever we met at Port events we hung out with you guys and had a great time and always said, "We have to do this more often." We are so sad that we did not arrange to do so. Thinking of you and always will.

You can be sure Mary-jo that I will e their for you even just a shoulder to lean on. Love Margaret xxx
