I only met "Uncle Fred" a few times - but remember his upbeat spirit and warm acceptance of everyone into his home. When the "NY" Frachioni's , (yes my grandfather - also Fred - may have lost a c in his trip to America), embarked via bus for my other Uncle Fred's (my grandfather's son) marriage to Elizabeth Moyer, I clearly remember being greeted by the real warmth of our Canadian cousins. Freddie was among the greeting committee - sharing his home, his food, and I think, I remember some home made wine.
God bless him - another wonderful family member who lived a full and rich life, and I was lucky to know.
