I also met Anya in the CFHI CPAC EMS national collaborative. A lovely memory I have is a warm day in Winnipeg with the collaborative. After the day's activities, before supper, I was going out for a walk and we happened to meet and headed out together. We had a lovely walk for an hour or so, Anya was so easy to converse with. She shared how delighted she was to have Jim in her life. Coming back to the hotel, she asked if I'd been in or through the Train Station. I had not, nor never had been. Just another example of her thoughtfulness, we went that way and she patiently waited as I took pictures of floor and ceiling. This was a healing walk for me as I was grieving my dear friend from Winnipeg who had died the summer before. As I look again at this picture, I think of the many persons in our lives who radiate light and give beauty. Anya was one for me. My condolences to her family, friends and loved ones.
