Obituary of Bob Tjart

Tjart, Robert (Bob) - After a courageous twelve year battle with cancer, Jesus called Bob home on Christmas morning. Born May 11, 1945 in Kitchener and peacefully passed away in St. Catharines in his 75th year on December 25th, 2020. 

Beloved husband of Rita Tjart (Wohlgemut), treasured father of Maria (Shane) Pegg, Carolyn (Jason) Storsley.  Dearly loved by his grandchildren Emily, Ryan and Alyson Pegg, Liam and Logan Storsley. Greatly missed by sisters Irene (Bill) Goertz, Ruth (Jim) Dotson, brother Roger (Ruth) Tjart and brother-in-laws, Ben (Marg) Wohlgemut, Gord (Janet) Wohlgemut, and sister-in-law Betty (Gord) Lough.

Immediate family will have a private service and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

Bob will be remembered by his love of sports and his great sense of humour. He loved to make people laugh, participate in sports with his daughters, and as long as he was able, play oldtimers hockey and golf.
