Obituary of Willempje (Willy) Van Kommer

Van Kommer, Willempje (Willy) (nee Mouw)– Peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby on Friday February 5, 2021, Willy Van Kommer, aged 96 years. Willy was born to Jan & Peetje Mouw (nee Hoegen) in Ermelo, The Netherlands on April 23, 1924. In 1952, she immigrated to Canada.

Willy is predeceased by her loving husband Albert Van Kommer (2005). She will be missed by her nephew Ron and his wife Betty Vanden Hengel. She will also be missed by all her friends at Evergreen Terrace and Shalom Manor as well as all her extended family.

A private funeral service will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes, Vineland on Tuesday February 9 at 10am with interment to follow at Vineland Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed on the folowing link Tallman Funeral Homes Facebook Page. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.
