I just learned today, (Dec 31/22), that Marie past away last year. My mother Elena was Marie's neighbour and close friend and they both resided on Kerr Crescent in Fenwick. After my mother moved away to Port Perry, my mother called regularly. Unfortunately, my mother is seriously ill with dementia and is unable to function. I called the LTC home today as I had found an envelope with Marie's address on Queenston Street. I wanted to talk to Marie and tell her how my mother was doing and to learn how she was. I was too late. To her son, I wish to express my sincere condolences on the passing of Marie. Marie was a fine lady who we both enjoyed begin around and visiting. David Watson, Pontypool, ON.
