Obituary of Marie MacPherson

Marie Dava MacPherson (Barrett) (November 3rd 1932 – March 3rd 2021)

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dearest Marie on March 3rd in her 88th year. Marie passed away peacefully at Tufford Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Bob MacPherson. Dear mother of Jim MacPherson, the late Robert MacPherson. Mother in-law of Jill MacPherson. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Quinn, Jacob, Jenna and Julia. Sister of George Barrett and Carolyn Culp. Sister in-law to Sandy & Rosalee MacPherson, Jack and Marian MacPherson and Grace and Peter Bowslaugh. She had many nephews and nieces.                

Marie was a retired elementary school teacher for the Lincoln County School Board. She had a passion for gardening and a love of sewing. She will be deeply missed by us all. Special thanks to the staff at Tufford Nursing Home and Dr. Luce.                 

All COVID restrictions remain in place for anyone who wishes to attend the graveside service to commemorate her life. The service will be held on Wednesday, March 10 that 11am in the North Pelham Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the North Pelham Presbyterian Church or Pelham Cares.
