I’m so sorry for your loss Ed. I first got to know Esther when she joined a Bible Study I was leading and she later became my secret prayer sister. Esther was gentle, loving, and kind and loved surprising me with secret gifts. She loved learning and studying scripture and I have many wonderful memories of her. May The Spirit comfort you in your loss.

Our hearts go out to you, Ed, and to your family, as you grieve the loss of your dear Esther. Although we didn't know her well, she always seemed positive and welcoming to all she met. She had a lovely lilt to her voice, and a smile in her eyes. She will be missed at Bethany. Ron and Jan Chappell

I didn't know Esther well, but felt known by her as she took a sincere interest in all people she met - such a gift! I mourn her loss, and, in particular, your loss, Ed. Wishing and praying for your peace and positive memories even as you mourn.

Sending our sincere condolences to you, Ed and family, to Esther's extended family, our many cousins. We have special memories of Esther. Visiting her on Old Orchard Way (her garden/craft room), at Elim Lodge, at family gatherings and even downhill skiing which she braved at Chicopee Ski Hill! We will always remember her warm voice and the interest she took in our children. May your memories of special times with Esther bring you peace and comfort and in knowing she is in her eternal Home.
Warmly, the Size Family

Our sincerest condolences to Ed & his family and to Esther's siblings. We've known Ed & Esther for many years & enjoyed our visits with them. Esther enjoyed her life with Ed--travelling to Pennsylvania, spending summers at Ed's house near Sudbury. She was also very fond of their Cocker Spaniel dogs! One thing we will always remember about Esther--she really loved the Lord, & she is now in heaven, basking in His Presence! Ed, may God grant you peace & courage in the years ahead.
Sincere sympathy,
Ernie & Marlene Doerksen

I only knew Esther for a short time. I became Pastor Feb 1st, 2020 at Calvary Church in Monetville where she and her husband attended while living here in the North. I loved to visit with her and Ed. The first thing I noticed in going to their home in the country was the mail box. Ed had painted E & E Martin on the box. That was the way I found them. Totally attached at the hip so to speak.
Esther, your church family here in the North will miss you. We prayed for you often, but our sovereign Lord in his wisdom decided to take you home. I observed the amazing amount of attention and care Ed gave to you. His responsibilities have now been taken over by God himself. Your last words to your husband were for him to “keep on going”. So in the midst of your own struggle you still thought of him. A memory he will share for the rest of his natural life.
Ed, we are praying for you still.
