Obituary of Muriel Christie

Christie, Muriel M. - Peacefully at Albright Manor on Thursday, August 18, 2016, Muriel Christie, aged 96 years. Loving mother of Larry and Madlyn, Bob and Sherry, Donna and John Morrison, Bill and Chari. Proud grandmother of Philip (Lindsay), Jennifer (Matt), Ryan (Julie), Bryar (Ryan), Michael (Alanna), Scott, Adam (Liz), Courtney (Travis) and Jeremy (Kayla) and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Doug (2003) and by her brothers Ira, Erland and Lloyd and sisters Jessie, Lillian and Verna. Muriel will be missed by her long-time best friend and sister-in-law, Muriel Southward. Cremation had taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Mount Osborne Cemetery, If desired, memorial donations to the Albright Foundation would be appreciated. The Christie family expresses their appreciation to the staff of the 5th Floor West Wing of the Albright Centre for their compassionate care.
