Obituary of Isabella Nicola Van Hal

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Isabella Van Hal passed away November 27, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by family in her 88th year.  Mom was a wonderful, caring person who devoted her life to helping others. 

Isabelle was predeceased by her husband John Van Hal,  Daughter Ellen, and 2 grandchildren Brittany and Nicole. 

Loving mother to Paul Van Hal (Kelly) and Rob Van Hal (Darlene).  Grandmother to John Paul Van Hal and Micheal Gorham and stepgrandmother to Eden, Carly, Dave and Cole. 

She spent her life helping others starting with disabled Children in her younger years then running a foster home which housed up to 15 children at once.  Some kids staying for 10 plus years. After immigrating to Canada in 1977 she worked with Juvenile delinquents in a live in environment for 6 years while taking a drug and addiction counselling course and began working with abused women till she retired.  

Mom will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 

Funeral service will be held at Tallman Funeral Home at 3277 King St in Vineland, ON.  Wednesday December 1st, 2021.  Interment to follow at the Vineland cemetery.
