Marjory and Bob and the Gortson family: Kay was a Wonderful Lady. She lived her life of faith and love; a life well-lived. She had such an impact on the neighbourhood. I treasure Kay's afghan that one day she asked me to choose. Some of my memories are chatting with Kay while she was happily crocheting and swinging on her swing on her front porch. I believe Kay planted the two beautiful mulberry trees by the house on Spring Creek Rd, one male, one female, that produce plentiful fruit that are a treat for song birds each fall. Our sincere condolences to the Gortson family, may you be comforted in God's love. We just heard of Kay's passing, we're so sorry.

When I was young (back in the 80s) I had the privilege of attending Church in St. Anns where Kay was a much loved mother figure to me. She generously shared her recipes and life wisdom and was always a source of cheer! She was important to me. I am sorry for her family and wish them contentment in remembering her wonderful ways.
