Rachel, Kenny & Kevin I am very sorry to hear of Ian's passing. I quite liked him. Ian was a business tenant next door to my tiny little office for several years until 1995 or so. For almost 10 years....I would say at least a couple of times a week we would connect and catch up. Lots of end of day pints. A gentleman's gentleman.
I was always sort of in awe of Ian..he always had the nicest car, travelled everywhere...self employed, could out golf most anyone..and he could put a ship back together after it banged into a bridge...all by himself...and the whole time he also out dressed me. Sheesh.
Ian was so in love with you Rachel...he told me about the small stuff that as you get older you realize is pretty ginormous. Like sending you flowers every week. I hope he kept that up.
Boys I know the years that I saw your Dad often were not easy. He lived for you both...he would tell me story after story..and yes I would mix you both up trying to keep it all straight.
I haven't seen Ian in likely 7 or 8 years. I will likely never stop looking for his car in front of that office on Secord Drive.
Rest in Peace Ian...see you up the road.

Sincere sympathies to the Cameron family on the loss of a beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Ian displayed a calm and intelligent approach to his work and greatly benefited the Marine Industry during his many years of involvement. His skills on the golf course are also the stuff of legend and we're all the better for time spent with him.

I would like to send my deepest condolence's, Ian will be missed by all who had the pleasure of spending time with him.
He was a true gentlemen and had a very kind disposition. Even on the golf course when he drove a ball right down the middle of the fairway and I would spray a perfectly good ball 2 fairways in the wrong direction, he would have a kind word.
Our industry will miss Ian.
My thoughts are with your family at this tough time....

It was very good addition for the Club & the men's side, when Ian & Rachel came to Rockway 3 years. His keenness and love for the game was surpassed only by the gentleman's standard he practiced. Best of all, it was free lesson on both qualities, to whoever played with him.
Sincere condolences to his favourite everything.... Rachel, to Kevin & Kenneth and their children.
May Ian rest in peace until you all meet again.

Sending My sincerest condolences to Rachel , Kevin and Ken- I have many fond memories of spending a lot of time with Ian playing golf throughout Ontario, Myrtle Beach and Florida and in addition spending countless hours with him on numerous work projects in the marine industry. He truly was a gentlemen and a very good friend who always approached his work with professionalism and incredible common sense. His advice and trusted counsel throughout our many years of friendship was invaluable to me. Rest In Peace buddy and always remember to keep your head down and swing hard. Fred Huneault
