Obituary of Ian Cameron

It is with profound sadness to announce that on March 31, 2022 Ian Cameron passed away peacefully in his sleep.

He was a very loving husband, cherished dearly by his best friend and wife  Rachel

Father of Kevin (Brooke) and Kenneth (Amy), and Grandfather of Kyle and Miller.

Brother of Sandra, who resides in Scotland.

Ian’s higher education was obtained in his native Scotland, where he received his degree in Naval Architecture.  After working for many years at Port Weller Dry Docks he became the Principal Owner of the Canadian Division of North American Marine Inc.  He was a man of great ability, lived his life with integrity and was kind and generous to all.

Ian and Rachel shared 38 years together, much of it spent on golf courses or travelling to exotic locations around the world. 

 Ian’s final wishes are as modest as the life he lived.  There will be no formal service, however friends are invited to pay respects and offer condolences to the family at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St., Vineland ON L0R 2C0) on Thursday, April 7th, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00pm with eulogy being read at 6:30pm
