Although, I hadn't known you for long, It was an honour and a pleasure to have met you. Although the farm may have taken you, I know that is where your heart and soul will always remain. I will never think of you without thinking, " Yes Jim , you are two weeks older".
My heart and hugs and prayers go out to the family, at this difficult time. May all the warm memories keep your spirits high and help guide you through the highs and lows of grieving. I will miss you Mr Mess.

To Margaret and family, a father, brother, or grandfather words are never adequate when times of sorrows come
and yet we want you to know we're thinking of you now. We wish you the strength and comfort the for days ahead
and all the warm encouragement that caring thoughts allow. As a small boy I lived on their farm in Vinemount Jim showed
me how to drive the tractor, pick and sort fruit . When I look back over the years I think living there were the best years of my life
thanks to Jim showing what enjoying your work was all about.

Aunt Margaret, Mary, Jim & Lisa, John, Ann & Rick and all the grandkids,
We have you all in our thoughts and are so sad with the news of Uncle Jim. When I think of Uncle Jim I picture him on a ladder in the orchard, or filling our car with baskets of juicy peaches, cherries, pears or jugs of his smooth delicious apple cider after a visit to the farm. As I child I recall how he loved to tease us kids, but I grew to see him as a kind, warm man that loved those orchards and his family. Rest in peace Uncle Jim.
With love, Kathy, John, Mark and Madeline xxxx

Had many a good time listening to Jim's many stories while he was visiting our Vanderburgh neighbour's on main st. east in Grimsby. Not to mention his many opinions on the current affairs of the day. The Allans. Linda & John.
