Obituary of James Alexander Vanderburgh

Vanderburgh, James Alexander “Big Jim” (September 11, 1931 - July 6, 2022)

At Hamilton General Hospital after an accident on the farm in Beamsville. Beloved husband of Margaret Rosemary (nee Herron) for sixty-five years. Dear father of Mary, Jim (Lisa), John, Ann (Fred). Much loved grandfather of Lucas, William, Caroline, George, Meg and Jean. “Big Jim” will also be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Survived by his sister Mary Downer. Predeceased by his parents Dr. William and Gladys Vanderburgh, brothers George (Dorothy) and William, sister Jean Forstmann Pomfret.

A brief memorial service will be held at Tallman’s Funeral Home, 3277 King Street, Vineland, Ont. on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 2:30 followed by a come and go reception in the Tallman Fireside Room from 2:45 to 4:30pm.  For those wishing to view the livestream please click this link - Livestream James Vanderburgh
