Obituary of James Arthur Charles Henry

In Memory of James Arthur Charles Henry - 1953 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Henry on November 30th, 2022 at the age 69. 

Beloved husband of Irene for 40 years and father of Nicole (Michael), Michele, Stephanie and Jillian. Brother of Pamela and Paul (Merna). Son-in-law of Henry (1988) and Hilda Regier. Brother-in-law of Ron (Sandy) Regier. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father James (2022) and Joyce (2022) Henry. 

In our lives there have been few people as special as Jim. He enjoyed his 37 years as a family physician in St. Catharines. He will be remembered for all the people he helped, the lives he touched and the good that he did as a doctor. 

Jim loved nothing more than spending time with his family. In the summer he enjoyed time at the cottage, canoe trips, horse camping and hiking. In the winter if he wasn’t at the rink playing hockey or coaching his girls in ringette you would find him skiing or snowshoeing with his dogs. He also loved working on his farm, spending as much time as he could outdoors. 

Kind and soft-spoken, he always had time to solve a problem, no matter how small. He will forever be remembered for his wicked sense of humour, his easy chuckle, and the kindness in his heart.

A private service will be held. The family gratefully declines flowers and donations, but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly accepted at Tallman Funeral Homes.
