Today I just happened to think of the Muench Family and happened to check the internet and found out about Tante Muench's homecoming that just happened recently. She was born in 1923 and that is the same year that my Mother was born.
I am thinking and praying for you as a family in your journey of grief. I'm sure every family member has special memories which you should cherish and keep in your respective hearts. May God be with you all during this time.
I have fond memories of Tante Muench as she was friends of my family, namely, Gertrude and Walter Hildebrandt.
Tante Muench loved her garden and also was a great baker and I remember her and Onkel Muench being active in the Youth Group and her warm hospitality that she showed while attending Immanuel Baptist. I can still remember the sadness that our respective families felt in the passing of Withold and my Dad's cousin, Erich Blech. That was a terrible hunting accident gone wrong.
